Leslie Kellen, the author of the first classification of Blaye and Bourg wines, The Kellen Classification, has worked in the wine industry for more than four decades. has worked in the wine industry for more than four decades. Leslie is a member of the jury in Bordeaux awarding gold, silver and, bronze wine medals worldwide, including France. He and his wife Clarissa are the proprietors of La Petite Cave in Blaye, “The world’s favorite little wine store and wine bar” in Bordeaux, and the Etalon Rouge Vineyard and Winery.

Bordeaux Village Blaye, their village within a village, is also well known for La Galerie where regular art exhibitions and events  are a feature.

A classic car collection is a popular part of the village, and these cars, together with wine, art and the music events at La Cave, reflect Les’s three life passions.
